HULL 

Colour. Oxford blue and flaxen raise sides above rubbing strake. White Bootline 
Heavy duty grp moulding incorporating a combination of chopped strand mat and biaxial cloth. 
1 ton ballast 
Double isophthalic get coat – clear underwater – backed up with powder bound mat and isophthalic resin followed by combination of woven roving and chopped stand mat with orthopthalic resin. 

 

DECK

Heavy duty GRP moulding comprising the weather deck, cockpit and coach roof. Hand laid choppedstrand mat laminate with sectioned plywood core to stiffen flat surfaces, on a double gel coat. Plywood support under horizontal surfaced for deck/toe rail rig fittings
Stainless steel safety rail/boom support. 

 

DECK SURFACE

  All horizontal deck surfaces fitted with Ceylon teak planking, side decks, coach roofs, fore deck, after deck and after deck seats.

 

BULKHEADS

Two bulkheads of 15mm plywood to enclose fore and aft peaks.
Partition bulkheads of 15mm ply with ash laminate 
All plywood marine grade to BSS 1088.

 

CABIN SOLE 

8mm Marine Ply with simulated teak and holly laminate, also on saloon steps.

 

COCKPIT SOLE

GRP Cockpit sole 
Removable panel for access to back of engine, gearbox and stern gear. 
Deck plate in sole for convenient access to gearbox dipstick and cockpit drain seacocks 
Teak grating to sole

 

RUDDER

Laminated plywood BS 1088 & hardwood cheeks epoxy sheathed. 
Laminated wood tiller.

 

DECK LAYOUT

Pushpit, stanchion and lifeline anchor points 
Stainless steel safety rail/boom support. 
Fairleads and cleats for forward, aft and amidships mooring. 
Deckplates for water and fuel. 
Sliding GRP hatch over cabin entrance. 
Glazed watertight hatch over fore cabin. Use Vetus Libero 50 with UFO Ventilator. 
Hinged GRP hatches on cockpit seat with ring pulls to open
Ensign staff and socket on rudder head.
Navigation lights.  Port, starboard, stern. 
Natural vents over Galley and Heads. 
All fittings/ winches, clutches etc by Barton 
Chainpipe to Fore Peak.

ENGINE

  Yanmar marine diesel engine Mdl.3YM 20 of 21 HP @3600 RPM fitted on resilient flexible mounting on GRP engine bed. 
Water cooled exhaust system. 
45 litre translucent fuel tank. 
Engine compartment sound insulated.
Stainless steel shaft, 3-bladed bronze propeller, sterntube with water lubricated bearing

 

FORECABIN

V’ –berth arrangement with lockers under.  V berth infill 
Overhead hatch.  Hull window port and starboard. All portholes to be VetusPX55 oval.
Lights above each bunk.

 

SALOON

Settee berth port and starboard with foot extension into Fore cabin. 
  Portable table with mounting plate fitted in saloon and cockpit 
 Hull window port and starboard. 
Hinged seat backs fitted with shelf fiddles above. 
Lights above seats in saloon and forecabin.

 

HEADS

Marine toilet installation.
Corner washbasin module with hot and cold water supply plumbing from 75 litre tank. NB Provide drainage facility for water tank 
Hinged panel for toilet roll holder as per no 33 
Opening hull window. 

 

GALLEY 

Plastic faced worktop with cupboard under. Good quality melamine faced waterproof worktop 
Stainless steel washbasin with hot ( if calorifier fitted) and cold water supply from 75 litre tank.  Locker below sink/hob to have facility to drain into bilge. (Calorifier required for hot water, see extras below) 
Stowage for crockery, glass etc
Gas or diesel hob to customer’s choice. Extra cost 
Opening hull window. 

 

BILGE SYSTEM 

Bilge pocket aft of ballast keel.  1 ½” hand pump fitted in cockpit locker with overboard discharge.

12v fully insulated two wire system fused in the positive pole.

Bulkheads covered with ash veneer.  4” foam settees and berths.  
Soft Furnishing colour and sidelining colour to be confirmed 

 

  

PAINTING

Internal veneered bulkheads and hardwood joinery varnished with matt varnish 
Hull bottom antifouled 2 coats prior to launching or hand over. 
All external teak to be untreated (see extras and changes to stanrd spec below) 

  

INSTRUMENTS

Suunto B116 bulkhead mounted sailboat compass.
  Electronic navigation equipment to customer’s choice at extra cost 

  

GENERAL 

One fire extinguisher and one fire blanket fitted in visible accessible positions.
