Neil Marine proudly announces the soft opening of our new Dikovita Boat Building facility — a BOI-approved project built on what was once unused Ceylon Fishery Harbours Corporation land, transformed into a production hub with an investment of over LKR 50 million.
This milestone reflects our founder Mr. Neil Fernando’s vision, carried forward today under the leadership of Group President Mrs. Manel Fernando, Group Chairman Mrs. Kumari Fernando and CEO Mr. Shan Perera with the Dikovita team led by Mr. Ajith Susantha driving operations on the ground.
We were honoured to welcome Hon. Rathna Gamage, Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, alongside the Chairman of the Ministry of Industries’ boat building sector, Mr. Indra Kaushal Rajapaksha, and representatives from the Export Development Board, for a ceremony that marks a new chapter in Sri Lanka’s boat building industry.
